Danny Wayne Schoenian, 81, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Arbors of Mifflin. Born December 15, 1941 in Ashland, he was the son of Floyd Albert and Mary Lou (Tomasek) Schoenian.
Danny served in the National Guard and retired from Abbott Laboratories. He enjoyed swimming especially when he lived in Florida and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna (Grissinger) Schoenian; his children, Michael W. (Lori) Schoenian, Cindy L. (Henry) Jennings, Jeffrey A. Schoenian and Vicki L. (Sean) Owens; ten grandchildren, Danielle (Ryan) Wilfer, Rachel (Tyler) Turner, Michael Tucker, Joshua (Jeremy Gibson) Jennings, Holly (George) Zachman, Amber (Chad) Campbell, Shona Schoenian, Ryan (Lynette) Carmichael, Raschel (Steven) Dennison and Allison (Bryan) Easterday; 16 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and a brother, Jerry S. Schoenian.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Justin Tyler Schoenian.
Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Wappner Funeral Directors – Ashland, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m. conducted by his son, Michael W. Schoenian.
