ASHLAND — Hundreds of children came to downtown Ashland on Halloween to get sweets and treats.

Costume Capers shut down Main Street from Claremont Avenue to Union Street from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Ashland Main Street, the nonprofit aimed at revitalizing the downtown, organized the event.
