Barbara Jeanne (Reed) Schultz age 75 of Ashland, passed away on Friday November 17,2023 at UH Samaritan Health Center.
Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on November 10, 1948 the daughter of Charles and Eleanor (Foose) Reed.
She was a graduate of Hilliard High School in Hilliard, Ohio. She had also been employed in communications and as a nursing assistant. On July 13, 1991 Barbara was married to her beloved husband Paull C. Schultz who precedes her in death. She said that she moved back to Ohio from New Symrna Beach, Florida wanting to be close to her family. “our love for each other grew each day and I lost my best friend when my Paull went to be with the lord”.
Barbara is survived by two children; Chad L. Cover of Wooster and Melissa M. and Jack W. Stuhldreher of Ashland. Step daughter Sherri Edwards (Hobert Edwards) of Bellevue. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Tyler (Cierra Zeigler) R. Stuhldreher, Jackie M. (Matthew Kadey) Stuhldreher and Gracie M.Cover. Step grandchildren, Julie Edwards, Jeff Edwards, and Christopher Edwards. Preceded in death by step grandchild, Clair Edwards. Also surviving are three great grandchildren; Leland Kadey, Laylah Stuhldreher and Presley Kadey. She is also survived by two brothers; Charles T. Reed of Winter Garden, Florida and Donald E. Reed of Winter Garden, Florida.
Barbara was a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina. She enjoyed spending time with family, most of all grandchildren and great grandchildren, Online shopping, and drives up by the Lake.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date, for close family.
