ASHLAND COUNTY — The Ashland County Farm Bureau invites members and prospective members to its Member Appreciation Breakfast on Feb. 24 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center.
Ashland County Farm Bureau board members will offer a menu of made-to-order omelets, donuts and beverages.
In addition to breakfast, the event will offer a presentation on Current Agricultural Use Value (CAUV) at 9 a.m. by Leah Hetrick, Ohio Farm Bureau Director of Legal Education and Member Engagement.
Ashland County Auditor Cindy Funk will address Ashland County-specific questions regarding CAUV.
The event is free to members and their dependents. Non-members can attend at $20 per person.
There will be no charge for the event for those joining the Ashland County Farm Bureau at the breakfast. Those joining or bringing a new member will receive a free t-shirt. Members who choose to renew at the breakfast will receive $5 in cash back.
Registration is requested by Feb 16 to aid in planning for enough food. Food will be available as long as supplies last.
