STRUTHERS — Lake Center Christian lived up to its No. 1 seed Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers had 15 hits and cruised to a run rule-shortened 10-0 win over No. 13 Loudonville at Bob Cene Park.

Lake Center Christian starter Dylan Maninga went the distance, allowing just two hits. He struck out five and did not walk a batter.

The Tigers scored runs in the first and third innings and added three in the fourth. LCC sealed it with five runs on three hits in the home half of the sixth.

Baylor Weiser and Dakota Wright each had a single for the Redbirds (11-13).

Loudonville starter Matt Sprang took the loss. He surrendered five earned runs on nine hits in 3.1 innings. 

Grant Coblentz, Matt Warder and Tanner Norman each had three hits for the Tigers. Coblentz scored three runs, while Warder doubled. Nathan Bryant stroked a double and a triple for Lake Center Christian. Bryant knocked in a run and scored a run.
