Douglas LeRoy Gray passed away on July 1, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.
Douglas was born on November 13, 1958. He was a 1977 graduate of Hillsdale High School. He also attended the Ashland JVS for culinary. During his life he was employed at Garbers, Gerwigs White Barn, Buehlers, and Brethren Care Village.
Douglas is survived by his two daughters, Ronda Gray and Erikka Gonzalez both of Ashland, one granddaughter Alaina Spreng, a sister Renee Russell of Ashland, a brother Herbie L. Gray III of New York, and many nieces and nephews.
Douglas is proceeded in death by his Mother Dorothy (Cummings) Gray, his Father Herbert L. Gray Jr., and his Stepmother Marilyn (Moorhead) Gray.
The family of Douglas would like to thank Hospice and Mansfield Ohio Health for the care of him over the last few months. At this time there will be no services, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
