NANKIN — Addison Hess collected some more All-Ohio hardware.
The Mapleton sophomore was selected to the Division VI first team by the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association.
The citation follows her All-Ohio special-mention selection during the basketball season.
Hess had a sensational sophomore campaign. She batted .645 with five home runs, 13 doubles, 45 runs batted in and 44 runs scored.
Mapleton won its first outright Firelands Conference championship since 2006. The Mounties won a sectional championship before falling to Leavittsburg LaBrae in the district semifinals.
