Miriam Arlene “Mim” Robinson, 95, of Perrysville died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the Arbors of Mifflin after a period of declining health.
Miriam was born on November 16, 1928, on the family farm near Perrysville, the daughter of Ivan Darling and Hazel Mae (Kershner) Glasgo. She was a 1946 graduate of Perrysville High School and married Lee Martin Robinson in Perrysville on May 16, 1948. She worked at the Flxible Company, Lumbermans Insurance, Mansfield Sanitary Pottery, paper delivery for the Ashland Times-Gazette, and retired from S & S Aggregate. She was a member of the Perryville Baptist Church and in past years she was a member of the Lady Lions, the Perryettes, and a Cub Scout Den Mother.
Mim was survived by two sons Martin Lee (Shelly Philpott) Robinson and Daniel Edward Robinson both of Mansfield; grandsons Martin Butler and Levi Robinson; great-grandchildren Danelle, Lee, Aiden, and Bella; her siblings Joyce (Vilas) Deane of Indiana and Carol (Robert) Thomas of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lee in 2001; her siblings Wanda (Harold) Watson, Dr. Laurel Glasgo, and James (Nancy) Glasgo; her daughter-in-law Jeri Lynn Garn; her nephew Bill Watson; and family members from the Robinson side of the family.
Mim’s family would like to thank the staff at Wedgewood, Arbors of Mifflin, and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Mim.
Mim’s family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 1-2 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel, with a service immediately following at 2 p.m. Pastor John Temple will officiate and burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery- Perrysville.
Contributions in Mim’s memory to the Perrysville Baptist Church or Gentiva Hospice may be made at the funeral home.
