ASHLAND — The Ashland Symphony Orchestra String Quartet is performing two free concerts in Ashland County this weekend.

Join ASO’s string principals Samuel Rotberg and Mary Kettering, violin, Eva Mondragon, viola, and Jeffrey Singler, cello, for an hour of music both serious and silly.

The events will be Saturday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. at The Ashland Theatre, 212 Center Street, Ashland, and Sunday, Aug. 18 at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Savannah, 10 W. Main St., Savannah.

A freewill collection will be taken and split between the ASO and each venue. The Savannah concert will be outside so please bring a lawn chair or blanket.

In case of inclement weather, the performance will be in the sanctuary.

The ASO Quartet’s Summer Concerts are made possible by a grant from the Ashland County Community Foundation.
