ASHLAND — The Ashland FFA chapter traveled to Reagan Elementary School for the Farm Carnival on May 31.
The elementary students got to learn about all the animals that were there and were able to pet them all.
The FFA members that helped with showing the kids the animals were Allie Heckman, Nick Cartwright, Noah Sobish, Michael Hamilton, James Coffman, Emily Coffman, Wyatt Carter, Sydney Spellman, Hannah McNaull, Oliver Harpster, Riley Windsor, and Paelyn Wilson.
The animals that were there included two steers, five ducklings, two pygmy goats, a miniature horse, two pigs, and two rabbits.
The elementary students were also able to plant a flower that they were able to pick and then they were able to take it home and watch it grow over the summer.
The FFA members that helped with this station included Hannah McNaull, Oliver Harpster, Emma Martin, Noah Sobish, Sydney Spellman, Paelyn Wilson, and Haley McNaull.
There was also a station where the students would spin a color wheel and whatever color it landed on and FFA members would ask them a question from the color category about different animals.
If they answered correctly they could choose a prize, members that helped with this were Haley McNaul and Hannah McNaull.
