ASHLAND — The Ashland Symphony Orchestra will open its brings y55th concert season, titled “Invigorated.”
The year begins on Saturday, Sept. 14, And the Symphony Said, “Amen!” This concert features the music of Carlos Simon, Emilie Mayer, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Felix Mendelssohn.
The ASO is excited to share the stage on Saturday, Oct. 26, with world-renowned violinist Grace Park. She will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s famous The Four Seasons and The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla.

Making their orchestral debut on Saturday, Jan. 25, is Columbus duo Honey and Blue. Singer/songwriters Stephanie Amber and Adam Darling have been wowing Central Ohio audiences with their blend of pop and soul music.
Power without Words, Saturday, March 15, will feature ASO’s own principal trumpet musician, Kenneth Holzworth, performing music by Adolphus Hailstork. Members of the ASO Fan Club will join the ASO for an arrangement of Kumbaya and the concert closes with Beethoven’s 5th Symphony.
The season finale is Back to Brahms on Saturday, April 12. The all-Brahms concert includes both the Academic Festival and Tragic Overtures, and Symphony No.4.
All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Robert M. & Janet L. Archer Auditorium at Ashland High School. Join Grammy-winning Music Director and Conductor Michael Repper for a pre-concert talk at 6:50 p.m. at the September, October, March, and April concerts.
