David E. Satterfield age 77 of Ashland, passed away on September 10, 2024 at Bath Manor in Fairlawn.
Born on March 22, 1947 in Fairmont, West Virginia the son of Eugene and Lorraine (Lewis) Satterfield he had been a resident of Ashland County since 1987. Mr. Satterfield was a veteran of the United States Navy serving his country during Vietnam. He was the owner and operator of Satterfield’s Barber Shop. Mr. Satterfield was an accomplished guitar player and love old VW bugs, car shows and eating.
On June 12, 1967 he was married to Judy Price who survives. In addition to his wife Judy, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; David (Melissa) Satterfield of Ashland. He is also survived by his grandsons; David, Chase and Dalton. Also surviving are brother Mark (Maria) Satterfield of Point Pleasant, West Virginia and brother-in-law, John Chamberlin of Ashland.
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Satterfield is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for those who knew David.
