ASHLAND — The Brookside Golf Course has crowned its 2024 club champions.
The 53rd annual club tournament took place on August 24 and 25, Brookside Golf Course.

The two-day event included 18 holes played each day for the men. The women’s tournament is a one-day, 18-hold event.
Organizers stated the weather was sunny and warm both days and the golf course in very good condition for our annual tourney.
In the Men’s Scratch Division, Aiden Baker claimed the title of “2024 Club Champion” for the second year in a row. Aiden posted rounds of 75 and 78 for a total of 153 over the two day tournament.
Jack Yonkovski was runner-up in the Scratch Division, with scores of 79 and 79 for a 158.

In the Men’s Handicap Division, Jason Roblin carried the day as our winner with net scores of 77 and 82 for a 159.
Runner up in this division was Aaron Goon shooting net scores of 78 and 88 for a 166.
The Men’s Senior Handicap Division was a close race with Stan Miller emerging victorious after carding net scores of 71 and 78 for a two day total of 149. Mike Dorr was runner-up with net scores of 79 and 74 for a 153.
The Women’s Championship returned to Brookside this year. All of the participants competed in the Women’s Handicap Division.

Isabel Wright shot a net score of 72 to become the 2024 champion. Erin Collins was runner-up with a net score of 75.
After a couple of years off, it was great to see the ladies again competing in this even, organizers stated.
