The Big band and All That Jazz Stardust concert will be on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church at 1425 King Road in Ashland.

ASHLAND — Coming up on Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., the Big Bands and All That Jazz Society will present the sounds of Stardust.

Led by Paul Martin, the band consists of some of the area’s finest musicians including saxophonists Tom Reed and Eric Snyder, trombonists Mike Grady, Darrin Harvey, and John Walker, drummer Steve Berry and pianist McCray Martin. 

The band is complimented by it’s magnificent vocalist Kelly Knowlton. You will hear the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, and so many more.

This concert is free and open to the public. Donations accepted and memberships available to help further and continue the society’s concert series.

The 7 p.m. concert will be held at the First Christian Church at 1425 King Road in Ashland. 

The church is wheelchair accessible and air conditioned.
