Kathleen Welsh, 81
Kathleen Welsh, 81, passed away late Friday night on October 4th 2024.
She was born on November 14th 1942, to Vernon Welsh and Colette Mary Malloy of Cleveland, Ohio.
A practicing Catholic, Kathleen was very involved with the parish of Saint Brendan’s Roman Catholic Church. On Sundays she spent her time as the church’s catechist teacher and aided youth groups.
Kathleen retired from her career as a school teacher but never retired from her involvement in the community. She volunteered in numerous groups, such as College Club, Book Club, The PlayHouse, Maple Schools, Cancer Society and University Hospitals Pediatric department.
Kathleen is survived by her sister Patricia (Danny) McEwen; two nieces, Michelle McEwen and Sheila (Bobby) Green; her nephew, Tim (Donna) McEwen; and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews who love her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lois Romano.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at a later date in the Saint Brendan’s Roman Catholic Church; 4242 Brendan Ln, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
