ASHLAND — The Redemption Jass Band will be featured on Monday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. when the Big Bands & All That Jazz Society of Ashland presents a concert performing the best in Dixieland Jazz.
Led by trombonist Damian Boyd, the band is composed of area musicians Eric Fairhurst on clarinet and saxophone, Andy Cary on guitar and banjo, Ed Rindfleisch on bass, and Jason Kamp on drums.
This will be the band’s first appearance at the Ashland Jazz Society and organizers are excited to have them as part this year’s concert series.
“We hope you all will come out and check out all of the great old time jazz,” organizers stated in a press release.
This concert will be hosted at the First Christian Church at 1425 King Road in Ashland. The church is air-conditioned and is handicapped-accessible.
This concert is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted and memberships are available.
