ASHLAND — The Ashland FFA Chapter had its annual Hog Roast on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The officers in attendance introduced themselves and their respective positions.
Secretary: Emily Coffman; treasurer: Allie Heckman; reporter: Sydney Spellman; student advisor: Sage Runion; sentinel: Nick Cartwright; historian: Wyatt Carter; assistant treasurer: Oliver Harpster were present. Unfortunately, president Ava Mahoney, vice president Haley McNaull; chaplain Noah Sobish; and parliamentarian Hannah McNaull were not able to attend.
The hog was donated by Jones Livestock and prepared by Dave Bishop. There were many different dishes brought by the members and their families to share as well as great conversation and a few yard games.
The previous years’ reporter book, with all the activities and contests, was shared with families of the members.
“Thank you to everyone for making this year’s Hog Roast a success,” The Ashland FFA group stated.
