ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in October with the Ashland County Common Pleas Court.
Indictments
The following 12 people were the subject of an indictment and have or will appear before the Ashland County Common Pleas Court:
- Nicholas Matthew Ash, 20, of Cleveland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by an Ashland County grand jury Oct. 10, in connection with an incident authorities say happened Sept. 2.
- Lawrence Dingus, 53, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Oct. 7, and it was in connection to an incident authorities say happened Oct. 6.
- William Hoffer, 43, of Ashland, received a charge for failure to verify his address. The charge was filed by an Ashland County grand jury Oct. 10, in connection with an incident authorities say happened Aug. 16.
- Kendall Lance, 24, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Oct. 16, in connection with an incident authorities say happened Oct. 15.
- Makiyah Marlowe, 19, of Reynoldsburg, was charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charge Oct. 10, in connection with an incident authorities say happened Aug. 24.
- Michael McCutcheon, 34, of Ravenna, received a charge for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. The charge was filed by the Ashland Police Department on Oct. 7. The charge came in connection to an incident court documents say happened Oct. 4.
- Kathryn Szabo Root, 35, of Ravenna, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by the Ashland Police Department on Oct. 7. The charge came in connection with an incident court documents say happened Oct. 4.
- Jackson Sabourin, 19, of Ashland, was charged with having weapons while under disability. The charge was filed by the Ashland Police Department on Oct. 25, in connection with an incident court documents say happened Oct. 23.
- Stacy R. Said, 59, of Worthington, received one charge of possession of cocaine and one charge of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charges Oct. 10 in connection to incidents authorities say happened Sept. 13.
- Kenneth Whitcomb, 36, of Ashland, was charged with two counts of kidnapping; two counts of strangulation; and one count of domestic violence. The charges were filed by the Ashland Police Department Oct. 9, in connection with incidents authorities say happened Oct. 8 through Oct. 9.
- Charles Williamson, 21, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Oct. 28, in connection to an incident court documents say happened Oct. 27.
- Tristan Willis, 23, of Ashland, was charged with having weapons while under disability. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Oct. 25, in connection to an incident court documents say happened Oct. 23.
