JEROMESVILLE — On Nov. 13, 37 Hillsdale FFA members received their Greenhand Degree and 24 members received their Chapter Degrees.

The ceremony took place at 7 p.m. and was led by the Hillsdale FFA officer team. We were privileged to have the Ohio State FFA Treasurer, Layna Gordon, join us for our ceremony and share with us about facing fears.

Isabelle Linder was awarded November FFA Member of the Month for volunteering her time to assist the officers in planning and conducting a meeting, and attending other FFA activities.

The night concluded with a successful pie auction. Each officer baked a pie that was auctioned off by Drew Turner, of RES Auction Service.

The proceeds will be used for our senior FFA scholarship winners. The business meeting was adjourned and refreshments were served following the ceremony.
