Betty Lou Clantz, 68, of Greenwich passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. The daughter of the late Robert and Wilma Wilson, she was born June 18, 1956, in Ashland, Ohio. On February 24, 1973, she married the love of her life, Charles Clantz. Betty was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Charles Clantz; her loving children, Terri Parker and Chris Hartley of Sandusky, Ohio, Toby and Frannie Clantz of Ashland, Ohio, Tina and Andy Dove of Jeromesville, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jake Lindecamp, Talor Clantz, Ostin Clantz, Braxton Dove, Kai Parker, Tyler Jewell, Dakota Smith, and Shylynn Smith; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy Culp and Cindy Belanger both of Ashland; along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Wilma Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Bob Clantz and Charlie Culp; and one son-in-law, Chad Parker.
Betty’s kindness, compassion, and joy for life will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her legacy of love and friendship lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Betty’s life Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the VFW, 125 East Main Street, Ashland, Ohio.
