Gary L. Dravenstott, 72, passed away early Friday morning after battling cancer. He was born August 21, 1952, to the late Wilbur and Margaret Dravenstott in Ashland, Ohio.
Gary was a retired Master Sergeant from the Army National Guard also a retired trainer from Heartland Express Trucking Co.
He loved traveling, adventures and capturing the world through his photographs. Keeping his family close was always a priority to him.
Gary was survived by his partner Marilee Birchfield of St. Augustine, Fl; daughter, Stacey Bence (Tony Means) of Mansfield; grandson Jacob Fisher of Mansfield; granddaughter Chelsey Bence of Mansfield; brother Jeff (Dianna) Dravenstott of Georgia; sister Joyce (Ken) Knapic of Colorado; sister Carol (Phil) Stentz of Ashland; brother Greg (Tammy Shook) Dravenstott of Ashland; sister Sherry (Dan) Satterfield of Ashland and many nephews and nieces.
Gary was proceeded in death by brother James Dravenstott and Brian Dravenstott, both of Ashland, Ohio.
No services will be held at this time. A private celebration of life with family will be held at a later date.
