Forrest George Jr., age 51, of Ashland, Ohio passed away January 11, 2025 at the UH Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on February 12, 1973 in Masontown, Pennsylvania, the son of Forrest George Sr. and Darlene Smith. Forrest had worked at Atlas Bolt and Screw for 28 years. He enjoyed camping, playing cornhole, throwing darts, grilling, fireworks and hanging out with family. His proudest achievements were raising his children.
He is survived by sons, Nathan (LeAnn) Barnard and Derek Barnard; stepdaughters, Phalisha and Shayla; seven grandchildren; brother, Charles (Chuck) George and sister, Heather George.
He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest George Sr. and daughter-in-law Cassie Martin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends and family.
