ASHLAND — The tournament trail is littered with landmines for the Ohio Cardinal Conference-champion Ashland Arrows.

Ashland earned the No. 2 seed in the Division III Buckeye Central district and will host sixth-seeded Mansfield Senior in the sectional final at 7 p.m. Feb. 13. A third win over the Tygers would send the Arrows into the district semifinals, where No. 3 Tiffin Columbian awaits.

Top-seeded Norwalk is on the bottom half of the bracket. If the Arrows can negotiate the early rounds, they would potentially match up with the Truckers in the district final.

Division V

Crestview was the sixth seed in the seven-team Shelby district and will be on the road in the opening round. The Cougars will visit No. 2 Willard in the sectional final at 7 p.m. Feb. 13.

Division VI

No. 10 seed Loudonville and 13th-seeded Mapleton are on the same half of the bracket in the Division VI Northeast District bracket and will both host sectional final games. The Redbirds will welcome No. 33 Black River to town at 7 p.m. Feb. 15. The Mounties host No. 16 Independence at 7 p.m. Feb. 15. If the Redbirds and Mounties both win, they would meet in the district semifinal at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at a site to be determined.

Hillsdale is seeded 27th and will play at No. 7 Leavittsburg LaBrae in a sectional semifinal at 7 p.m. Feb. 12.
