In the early morning of Saturday, February 1, 2025, James “Jim” E. Flory passed away suddenly at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jim enjoyed fishing at the lake, the sweet nectar of Natural Light, and the camaraderie of his family and friends. Throughout his life, Jim worked construction by trade before retiring to spend time with his wife, Robin Flory, who preceded him in death.
Jim survived by his mother, Darlene Hildebrand; his son, Bill (Angie) Flory; granddaughter, Ava Flory; his brothers, Paul Boreman of Ashland, Larry Flory of Lakeville, and Terry Mills of Ashland; and his sisters, Ronda (Daniel) Mulkey of Ashland and Veronica (Aaron) Arter of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Flory; his grandson, Justin Flory; and his father, James Flory.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ashland is honored to serve the Flory family.
