OLIVESBURG — Justice Thompson’s place in Crestview basketball history already was secured, but the senior keeps adding to his legacy.

A senior and the program’s all-time leading scorer, Thompson was selected to the District 6 first team in Division VI when the teams were announced Monday. He was also tabbed as an alternate for the state all-star game in Division V-VII after averaging 25 points a game for the Cougars (15-6).

Teammate Tyson Ringler was selected to the second team. The senior averaged 12 points a game.

Junior Karter Goon was the third Cougar to earn District 6 recognition. Goon was an honorable-mention pick after averaging 11 points a game.
