ASHLAND — The Ashland County Historical Society (ACHS) is excited to host its first program of 2025 on March 27.

The event, titled “Myers and Millers and Clarks – Oh My!” features Ron Marenchin, the Coordinator of Music Ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashland.

In his role, Marenchin directs several choirs, plans worship services and special events, and oversees the care and maintenance of a dozen or more keyboard instruments. His presentation brings the history of Ashland County to life with a musical twist.

Thanks to his background and the remarkable pianos, he will shine a light on the philanthropy and musical exploits of some of the county’s most notable names as told through the lens of their pianos.

Join the Ashland County Historical Society to learn more about people, pianos, and philanthropy in our history. The event is free and open to the public.

The program will take place in the historic Freer Children’s Home meeting room at 1260 Center St., Ashland, Ohio, 44805.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the program kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
