Ed “Electric Ed” Kendall, 70, passed away Monday morning, March 24th 2025, at his home in Jeromesville, surrounded by his family and friends.
Ed was born on June 28th 1954, in Ashland Ohio to the late Ralph Kendall and Marjorie (nee Bartley) Kendall.
Ed later went on to marry the former Sally Newman on October 4th 1974, and the two celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2024.
A devout follower in Christ, Ed and Sally regularly attended their local Lutheran church.
Throughout his career as an electrician, Ed earned the name “Electric Ed”, but to his coworkers, he was known as “The Law.”
In his spare time, Ed enjoyed contesting horses, fishing and hunting; or just spending time with his family and friends.
Ed is survived by his wife, Sally Kendall; a daughter, Heather (Scott) Kendall-Winterroth; a brother, Phillip Ralph (Cathy) Kendall; a sister-in-law, Connie Kendall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Tim Kendall and Marc Kendall.
Ed will be remembered for the love he shared, both as a devoted husband and father.
In keeping with Ed’s wishes a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
