Tracy White left this world on Friday evening April 4th due to complications from her six-year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Tracy was born on October 11th, 1965, to Charles and Lynn Cook. She graduated from Malabar High School in 1984 and married Sam White in 1988. They had two children, Jordan (1991) and Noa (1996) as well as two grandchildren Emi (2017) and Elliot (2024). She was a member of the Mansfield Baptist Temple and served as the Church secretary for several years. She was preceded in death by both her parents, grandparents, and her nephew Ellis Grove. She is survived by her sister Lisa Grove, stepmother Jana Cook, husband, both children and her grandchildren.
Tracy loved Temple Christian athletics and could always be found at the Crusader’s ball games either working concessions in the Snack Shack or taking money at the gate. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Xavier Musketeers fan and was elated when the Buckeyes won the national championship this past January. She enjoyed vacationing in the Great Lakes region of the Upper Peninsula. She called it her “Happy Place.” Tracy loved her church and church family and would have done anything to help another member out. Most important of all, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her Heavenly Father, and her wish was that all her family and loved ones would find that same love and acceptance through faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Mansfield Baptist Temple on April 16th with calling hours from 4:00 to 6:00, the service from 6:00 to 7:00 and an open reception immediately following.
