Donna J. Delvecchio age 89 of Ashland, passed away at her residence on April 15, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born in Logan, West Virginia on April 19, 1935 the daughter of Noah and Myrtle Baier. Donna had been a resident of Ashland most of her life and was the Owner and Operator of Donna D’s Pizza for over 40 years until she retired.
On July 2, 1969 Donna was married to Gerald “Jerry” Delvecchio who preceded her in death on July 7, 2014.
Surviving are two children; Brenda Deaton of Ashland and John Tackett of Palm Harbor, Florida. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Mike (Jennifer Worthington) Deaton of Ashland, Jennifer (Josh) Bates of Ashland, Samantha Tackett, Chelsea Tackett and Collin Tackett all of Palm Harbor, Florida. Nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and one brother and sister in law, Orville (Bea) Baier, also survive.
In addition to her husband Gerald, she is preceded in death by her parents and two infant twin sisters.
Funeral services will be held on April 22, 2025 at 12:00 pm at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Bolden officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the funeral home on Tuesday April 22, 2025.
