ASHLAND — The Annual Summer series of United Way of Ashland County’s popular Fun Fridays begins Friday, June 6 at Foundation Plaza, located next to Ohio Fire.
This summer series is in partnership with the Ashland Public Library to kick off their summer reading program. Lunch and programming will begin at approximately 11:45 am. Lunch will be provided by The Green’s Bistro and Pub.
The Ashland Wooster Drive In also will be providing hot dogs and popcorn.
The entertainment for June 6 is Mr. Jeff is Fun Music and he definitely brings the fun.
Please watch the United Way of Ashland County Facebook page for any location updates in case of bad weather. July 11th will be at a new venue – the Ashland Theater – for a showing of the movie Toy Story.
Popcorn and drinks will be provided, and Eva’s Treats will be there with dessert. Come enjoy lunch, entertainment, and get signed up for the APL summer reading program. All ages are welcome to the event.

June and August Fun Fridays are held at Foundation Plaza with food and entertainment beginning at 11:45 a.m. and concluding at 1 to 1:15pm. Please be sure to bring your chairs or a blanket.
The July 11 Fun Friday will be at The Ashland Theater with the movie Toy Story starting at noon.
If it rains in June or July, entertainment will be cancelled but food will still be available.
