Samuel Airensburg, age 21, born on Abe Lincoln’s birthday, passed away May 19, 2025.
Samuel was the beloved brother of Chiara and Zoe. He loved his sisters and was proud of their accomplishments. Sam shared a wicked sense of humor with Chiara, and they spent many happy times laughing together while dining on good food or shared excursions to interesting places. With Zoe, the childhood memories of playing together, going swimming and birthday parties were dear to him.
Sam had a love of cats, which he shared with his landlady and all other feline devotees. The two were feeding, obtaining medical care, and following a spay and release program for the many feral cats they rescued. They found homes for those he could tame.
Sam enjoyed spending time with his dad, Dylan, especially going for breakfast, collecting rocks and driftwood on the beach in Sonoma County, California as well as listening to music and watching sports.
With his Gramma Niki, Sam enjoyed watching wildlife, the stars, listening to stories of his ancestors, and advising her on car repair.
Sam was a gifted guitar player and was mathematically and mechanically inclined.
He leaves behind his mothers, Tressa and Valerie, extended Airensburg family, and his friends Grace and Nick, as well as others.
He was predeceased by his best friend, Zane. He will be dearly missed.
