Jane Kaye Shoenberger, 83 of Ashland passed away from this life after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in her home.
She was born on December 28, 1941 in Lodi, Ohio the daughter of the late, Roy Hubert and Lillian (nee Falconer) Harris.
Jane married the love of her life, Harry Shoenberger, on June 21, 1958. The couple would call Ashland home.
She retired from Abbott Laboratories after more than 30 years.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Brad) Morgan of Gainesville, Florida and Judy Garver of Red Haw; a daughter-in-law, Connie Shoenberger of Polk; eight grandchildren; Lisa (Luke) Eichelberger, Laura (Tosh) Buckingham, Jarrod Shoenberger, Tiffany McCullough, Tyler, Kyle, Emily and Rachel Morgan; and five great grandchildren; Brynn, Case, Kennedy Eichelberger, and Ridge & Remi Buckingham; and a special friend, Bill Jennings.
In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Harry who passed away on January 8th, 2003; a son, Dean Shoenberger who passed away on July 17, 1992; a son- in-law, Gary ‘Gib’ Garver; two sisters, Patsy Harris and Betty Hartman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Trudy Bates presiding. Private interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice. The family would like to especially thank Ashley and Tiffany for their support and guidance.
