Donald Lawrence Larsen, 72 of Ashland passed away on Sunday evening, June 15th 2025 in his home.
He was born on December 5, 1952 in Amherst, Ohio the son of the late Donald H. and Mabel (nee DuDash) Larsen.
Don graduated from Firelands High School, Class of 1970. He furthered his education at the Ohio State University.
Don became life partners with the former Karen Dreisbach on October 6, 2012.
He retired after more than 30 years from Suburban Propane, previously known as Emerald.
Don was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing softball in his earlier years.
He is survived by his loving partner of 12 years, Karen of Ashland; one daughter, Melissa (Travis) May of Greensboro, North Carolina; one son, Donald Larsen Jr. of Oberlin; and two grandchildren, Emersyn and Caroline Pritchett.
Don is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 11:00 A.M. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Miller and Reverend Kevin McClain presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
