ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in June with the Ashland County Common Pleas Court.
Indictments
The following 15 people were the subject of an indictment and have or will appear before the Ashland County Common Pleas Court:
- Marina Beer, 24, of Mansfield, was charged with assault, obstructing official business and two counts of retaliation. Charges were filed by an Ashland County grand jury on June 12 following an incident authorities say happened May 15.
- Maxwell Berger, 27, of Park River, North Dakota, was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle. The charge was filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on June 23 following an incident authorities say happened June 21.
- Nathan Cline, 38, of Nankin, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound and aggravated possession of drugs. Charges were filed by the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office on June 12 following an incident authorities say happened Jan. 3.
- Matthew DeWitt, 29, of Loudonville, was charged with attempt to commit an offense, felonious assault, aggravated possession of drugs and two counts of domestic violence. Charges were filed by the Loudonville Police Department on June 5 following an incident authorities say happened June 3.
- Juanita Faircloth, 43, of Ashland, was charged with sexual imposition and two counts of trespassing in a habitation when a person is present. Charges were filed by an Ashland County grand jury on June 12 following an incident authorities say happened May 17.
- Jonathan Kellogg, 43, of Greenwich, was charged with having weapons under disability. The charge was filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on June 3 following an incident authorities say happened May 30.
- Kyle Long, 41, of Ashland, was charged with theft and four counts of passing bad checks. Charges were filed by an Ashland County grand jury on June 12 following an incident authorities say happened Aug. 21, 26, 26 and 29 in 2024.
- Raini Moss, 40, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by an Ashland County grand jury on June 13 following an incident authorities say happened Jan. 3. Moss was also charged with a separate charge of aggravated possession of drugs on June 13 for an alleged incident on Jan. 26.
- Davontez Otis, 18, of Bedford, Ohio, was charged with tampering with evidence. The charge was filed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on June 23 following an incident authorities say happened June 20.
- Colleen Russell, 47, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by the Ashland Police Division on June 13 following an incident authorities say happened June 12.
- Kayleigh Sheriff, 29, of Mansfield, was charged with disrupting public services and two counts of domestic violence. Charges were filed by the Ashland Police Division on June 5 following an incident authorities say happened June 3.
- Brandon Shoemaker, 39, of Mansfield, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, possessing criminal tools and misdemeanor theft. Charges were filed by the Ashland Police Division on June 3 following an incident authorities say happened June 1.
- Dawn Smith, 44, of Mansfield, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound and an OVI. Charges were filed by an Ashland County grand jury on June 12 following an incident authorities say happened April 16.
- William Swiger, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on June 5 following an incident authorities say happened June 3.
