Anna Crumrine, 74 of Nova passed away Wednesday morning, July 9, 2025 in her home with her loving family at her bedside.
She was born on January 17, 1951, in Erie, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Lewis Michael Sr. and Echo (nee Woodward) Kovach.
Anna graduated from Collinwood High School in Cleveland, Class of 1969. She went on to further her education. Anna was a joyful person that loved life and strived to spread her happiness to others.
She married the love of her life, Michael Tod Crumrine on July 2, 1990 in New Ulm, Minnesota.
Anna retired in December 2009 after more than 30 years from the United States Postal Service where she was a beloved mail carrier. Every Christmas season, Anna made sure all the Amish children on her mail route got candy. She was always thinking of others. Prior to her time at the USPS, she worked for General Electric for 10 years.
She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Savannah. All throughout her life she was an avid genealogy enthusiast. Within her work as a genealogical researcher, she reunited dozens of adoptees with their biological families. Anna also enjoyed doing photography, fishing, and spending time at her beloved lake house in Marblehead, Ohio. Her 9 grandchildren were her whole heart and she sure loved Jesus.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Michael Tod Crumrine of Nova; her children, Laura Crumrine of Columbus, Christopher (Linda) Crumrine of Nova, Bryce (Jennette) Crumrine of Armada, Michigan, Jason (Nancy) Duigou of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Danielle (Scott) Stoldt of Indianapolis, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Morgan, Camden, Jonathan, Mason, Wesley, Daniel, Penny, Ariya, and Charlotte; one brother, Stephen Kovach of Wellington, and her Labrador Maci.
In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by one step-son, Jeffrey Duigou and a brother, Lewis Michael Kovach who passed away on September 14, 2013 whom she deeply loved. She’ll be forever missed by her friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church, 575 US-250, Savannah, OH 44874 with Reverend John Bouquet presiding. Interment will be in the Nova Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday evening, July 16, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church.
