ASHLAND — As our community sees the needs of children in foster care, it is evident that every child is Made for Home.

Fostering Family Ministries is holding their fundraising banquet on Sept. 23 in Ashland. FFM invites the community to attend and enjoy an evening of celebration and raising funds for families and children in foster care.

Join us as we celebrate what God is doing in foster care and hear from worship pastor, singer/songwriter, and foster alum, Austin Ludwig.

Austin Ludwig is a self-produced artist, speaker, and advocate for foster care, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

After enduring 15 years of abuse and trauma, Austin spent his formative years in the foster care system, aging out at 18. Amidst the brokenness of his past, Austin experienced the transformative love of Jesus, finding healing and restoration through the gospel.

Over the past 12 years, Austin has dedicated his life to full-time ministry, using his testimony to fuel his recording artistry, writing, and speaking engagements.

After years of pastoral ministry, he now focuses on his music career while also serving on staff with the WinShape Foundation, partnering with WinShape Homes to equip local churches in their mission to care for children in foster care.

Austin’s passion for discipleship drives his commitment to helping younger generations come to know Christ. He believes that God has the power to turn traumatic stories into life giving testimonies.

Austin lives in Atlanta with his wife of five years, and together, they are dedicated to serving God through both their personal and professional lives.

We invite you to extend your influence to ensure vulnerable children in foster care are placed in supported, loving foster homes. Y

our support and attendance at our annual fall benefit banquet, Made for Home, Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Estate Event Center in Ashland helps make this possible.

The first $30,000 in donations will be DOUBLED thanks to the support of the Samaritan Hospital Foundation in Ashland.

Our purpose for this event is to raise essential support, increase awareness, and recruit more foster families with engaged volunteers to support the growing needs of our work.

In the past 12 months, we have added several partnering churches and foster parents who are served by care teams.

Our ministry now spans several counties. (Ashland, Knox, Medina, Stark, Richland, Wayne, Huron and Franklin)

As foster families continue to serve vulnerable children, your support is critical. Care teams bridge the gap when unexpected changes occur in the lives of these children and their families.

Your partnership will help us provide support for foster & kinship parents as well as provide training for new lay leaders and volunteers.

Thank you for your careful consideration of how your partnership will positively impact the needs of vulnerable children and families who are facing difficult circumstances in foster care.

Children are truly Made for Home. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
