Dear Editor,
I am writing to encourage my fellow Ashland County residents to vote YES on the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County’s levy on this year’s ballot.
This levy supports life-saving services that benefit individuals and families throughout our community. It funds mental health liaisons in our local schools — Mapleton, Loudonville, Hillsdale, Crestview, and Ashland — ensuring students have access to critical support.
It also provides resources for support groups, employment assistance for those facing mental health challenges, 24/7 crisis intervention and hotline services, housing support, veterans programs, and many other essential services.
Life is full of ups and downs. None of us know when we — or someone we love — might need the help of our local mental health system.
The services supported by this levy create a vital safety net for our friends, neighbors, and families when they need it most.
These programs make a real and lasting difference. By voting YES, we ensure these vital services remain available to those who rely on them.
Let’s come together to support the well-being of our community. Please vote YES on the Mental Health and Recovery Board levy.
