Mapleton FFA had three members — Lukus Jenkins, Hallee Kamentz, and Makayla Williams
— participate in the “Ace the Interview” Job Interview CDE practice. These students showed their leadership and communication skills and placed in the top 10 in the mock interview.
They got the opportunity to advance and compete again in Wilmington, where Hallee received a perfect score on her follow-up letter.
The Job Interview CDE gives FFA members across Ohio a chance to showcase their skills
and prepare for real work career challenges. Students who compete in this CDE complete
a full job application as well as a professional resume, cover letter, follow-up letter, and a
mock interview.
Mapleton’s competitors have put in weeks of practice by revising their materials and
preparing their interviews. Their hard work has paid off, and Mapleton FFA Chapter is proud of their participants for accomplishments!
