William H. Founds, 86 of Ashland, formerly of Columbus, passed from this life early Wednesday morning, December 10, 2025 in the Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on January 3, 1939, in Columbus, the son of late Robert and Florence (nee Kent) Founds.
Bill married the former Judith Robertson, who preceded him in death. He proudly served in the United States Army during peacetime and was honorably discharged in January of 1958.
Throughout his life, he loved to go fishing, work on puzzles, and assemble models. It is so fitting that he passed during the Christmas season at this time of year was by far his favorite.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Patricia Ashby of Ashland; five sons, Clarence, Billy, Greg, Mark, and Scott Founds; numerous grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy.
