Patricia (Patty) L. Hildebrand age 88 of Ashland, passed away on December 17, 2025 at Kingston of Ashland after a short illness.
Born in Ashland on July 13, 1937, the daughter of John Philip and Mary J. (Echelberger) Steiner, she had been a resident of Ashland county all of her life where she was a homemaker. Patty graduated from Ashland High School in 1955. She was a member of the Nankin Federated Church.
Patty greatly enjoyed music. She sang on the radio in Mansfield, Ohio as a child, and started singing solos at church at the age of 9. When old enough, she joined the church choir where she sang for most of her life. She directed the children’s choir for a time, was a member of the Lola Lutz Circle, and taught summer bible school.
On June 1, 1955 Patty was married to Clifford Hildebrand who preceded her in death in 2005.
Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Jenny) (Greg) Moody of Greenwich. She is also survived by one grandson, Jered Moody (Abby Hord) of Ashland, two brothers, Philip Ohl of Ashland and  Don Steiner (Kris) of Mansfield, and one sister, Mary Hudak of Bloomington, Indiana.
In addition to her husband Clifford she is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Walker.
In keeping with Patty’s wishes there will be no funeral services held.
