Timothy R. Workman age 63, of Ashland, passed away on January 2, 2026 at University Hospitals Samaritan Health Center.
Born in Ashland on October 1, 1962 the son of Thomas E. and Glenn (Warren-Bowman) Workman he was a resident of Ashland all of his life. Timothy was employed at University Hospitals Samaritan Health Center before his retirement.
On October 26, 1991 Timothy was married to Christine Gallo who preceded him in death on February 8, 2025.
With deep love and gratitude, we remember a man whose life was defined by hard work and adventure. He was a father who believed that the best lessons were taught side by side—through doing, building, and experiencing the world together.
For much of his life, he poured concrete, a trade that reflected who he was at heart: strong, steady, and dependable. Outside of work, when he was younger, he found joy water skiing, where his love for speed, balance, and freedom came alive.
When he became a dad, his greatest passion became teaching his children everything he knew. He believed knowledge was meant to be shared, and he patiently passed down skills both practical and meaningful—how to work hard, how to fix what’s broken, and how to respect the outdoors.
He cherished time spent camping and hiking, finding peace in nature and happiness around a campfire with family nearby. He loved shooting, hunting, and fishing, not just for the sport, but for the time spent together and the memories made along the way. Whether he was building something from scratch or fixing what others thought couldn’t be repaired, he always involved his family, turning everyday moments into lasting lessons. His legacy lives on in the skills he taught, the values he instilled, and the countless memories shared with those he loved most.
He is survived by three children: Austin Brown of Florida, Tyler (Bayligh Allen) Workman of Ashland and Tara Workman of Ashland. He is also survived by his mother, Glenn Warren-Bowman and one sister and two brothers: Connie Workman of Perrysville, Vinton Workman of Ashland and Renold Workman of Ashland. One half brother also survives, Brian Workman of Ashland.
He is preceded in death by his Father and his wife, Christine M. Workman
A private family service will be held in his honor at a later date.
