The Crimson Flashes enjoyed a big enough lead to offset the Whippets’ 13-5 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Last time Shelby and Willard played in a 71-34 game on Dec. 14, 2024.
In recent action on Dec. 27, Willard faced off against Monroeville and Shelby took on Lexington on Jan. 3 at Lexington High School.
