Mansfield Madison topped Lexington 48-45 in a tough tilt for an Ohio boys basketball victory at Lexington High on Feb. 20.
Lexington showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 20-17 advantage over Mansfield Madison as the first quarter ended.
The scoreboard showed the Minutemen with a 27-25 lead over the Rams heading into the second quarter.
Mansfield Madison broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 38-37 lead over Lexington.
The Rams held on with a 10-8 scoring edge in the final quarter.
Last season, Lexington and Mansfield Madison squared off on Feb. 20, 2025 at Lexington High School.
In recent action on Feb. 13, Lexington faced off against Ashland and Mansfield Madison took on Shelby on Feb. 14 at Shelby High School.
