Michael Fulk, 78 of Ashland passed from this life, early Sunday morning, February 22, 2026 in the Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.
He was born on November 25, 1947 in Ashland, the son of the late Harold and Grace (nee McKean) Fulk.
Mike graduated from Malabar High School, Class of 1967. He married the love of his life, the former, Cheryl Fair on March 9, 1968.
For more than 53 years, Mike was self-employed. He owned and operated, Clean N Safe, a company that cleaned hood systems for commercial restaurants. He also owned and operated Larry’s Tap Service, which cleaned taps for draft beer restaurants. He enjoyed hard work all throughout his life.
Mike was an avid collector of antique cars, Lionel trains, and draft beer handles. His life would not be complete without mentioning his many canine companions, including Finley and Hamilton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mrs. Cheryl Fulk of Ashland; one son, Todd (Shelli) Fulk of Columbus; and three grandchildren, Kiana (Trent) Kaufmann, Hailey (Chris) Hrabcak, and Connor Fulk.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his beloved stepfather who raised him from the age of seven, Richard M. “Mike” McDaniel; and Cheryl’s parents, Richard B. Fair and Pauline & Hugh Clingan.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Don Earlenbaugh presiding. Following the service a meal and time of fellowship will be served in the Legacy Room at the funeral home, and all are welcome. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private in the Ashland Cemetery.
