Fredericktown showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 16-10 advantage over Milford Center Fairbanks as the first quarter ended.
Neither squad could claim an advantage as the scoreboard showed a 34-34 standstill heading to the third quarter.
Milford Center Fairbanks moved in front of Fredericktown 49-44 going into the fourth quarter.
The Panthers enjoyed a big enough lead to offset the Freddies’ 16-12 advantage in the final quarter.
