Earle “Chip” L. Glazier age 79 of Ashland, passed away at University Hospital Samaritan Medical Center on March 2, 2026 following an extended illness.
Born in Silver Lake, Ohio on August 18, 1946 the son of H. Earle and Phyllis (Wright) Glazier. He had been a resident of Ashland county since 1979.
Mr. Glazier had been employed at Abbott Labs before his retirement in 2007. He was also a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany. He loved the outdoors, spending time with his family, and making people smile.
On October 14, 1967, Chip was married to Jacqueline Garver who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Eric (Shiela) Glazier of Colorado, Jason (Aibin) Glazier of Oregon and Andrew Glazier of Columbus. He is also survived by grandchildren, Tommy, Nolan, Cooper, Danica, Eli, Mahkila, and Lincoln.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and also brother David.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 2:00 pm till 3:00 pm at the Heyl Funeral Home.
