Theresa L. Tucker age 67 of Ashland, passed away at University Hospitals Samaritan Health Center on April 11, 2026.
Born in Akron on April 1, 1959 the daughter of Vern and Barbara (Fultz) Runkle, she was a resident of Ashland County all of her life. She had been employed as a shuttle driver for D-R Services. Theresa loved to travel to Florida and also loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed large family gatherings during the holidays.
Theresa was married to Phillip Tucker Sr. who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her second husband, Kevin Pflieder
Surviving are her parents, Vern (Barbara) Runkle and seven children: Heather (Arthur) Puckett, Phillip (Tracie) Tucker Jr., Candice Thomas, Amanda (Charles) Piscitello, Jason Bates, Jordan Bates and Connor (ShaKaria Noble) Bates. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Kim (Marc) Vinkenberg, Scott (Sheryl) Runkle, Nora (Reuben) Kamper and Tim (Cami) Runkle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is also survived by fiance and Roy Bates and sister’s in law: Bev Tucker and Terry Kitchen.
Funeral Services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Kevin McClain officiating at 11:00 am on Wednesday April 22, 2026. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am till the time of the funeral service at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday April 22, 2026.
