NEW LONDON — Firelands Electric Cooperative has announced the winners of The A Team drawing for the month of April.

Emily Hiller, daughter of Adam and Joni Hiller, is in the sixth grade at Ashland Middle School.

Brooke Wuensch, an eighth grader at New London Middle School, is the daughter of Jason and Amy Wuensch.

Kaitlynn Slarb, daughter of Lee and Cassi Slarb, is in the eighth grade at Hillsdale Middle School.

Sponsored by Firelands Electric, The A Team recognizes students in grades 6 to 8 who had a minimum of three A’s on a recent report card.

Applicants must also reside in a home served by the co-op.

Students who submit a qualifying report card are entered into a drawing held at the conclusion of each grading period.

Three winners are then randomly selected to receive a $15 pre-paid Mastercard and be recognized in Ohio Cooperative Living magazine and on Firelands’ website and social media outlets.
