ASHLAND — Hard work pays off.
That phrase was reinforced for students of Ashland City Schools during Monday’s board of education meeting. Each month the board highlights students from each school in the district for their hard work, achievements and positive attitudes.
For April, those students included:
- Scarlett Haldeman – First grader at Reagan Elementary School.
- Harrison Kemp – Third grader at Edison Elementary School.
- Eden Klingler – Fourth grader at Taft Elementary School.
- Brian Ellenwood – Encore student.
- Spencer Burson – Sixth grader at Ashland Middle School.
- Emely Miranda Garcia – Seventh grader at Ashland Middle School.
- Cole Carpenter – Eighth grader at Ashland Middle School.
- Brynlynn Burgett – Freshman at Ashland High School.
- Jackson Fyffe – Sophomore at Ashland High School.
- Gracen Brockett – Junior at Ashland High School.
- Grace Tobias – Senior at Ashland High School.
Two Ashland City Schools staff members were also highlighted for the month of April:
- Support Staff Member of the Month – Allexis Thompson
- Certified Staff Member of the Month – Rachel Burgett
The board also congratulated the district’s winter sports athletes for their accomplishments this year.
