Louis Adam Mannebach Jr., age 87, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on October 7, 1938, he was the son of the late Louis and Eleanor (Seifert) Mannebach Sr. In 1962, Louis married the love of his life, Mary Meeker, beginning a lifelong journey rooted in family and friendships.

Louis proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he built a career as a skilled UAW electrician and was employed by The DeVilbiss Company and retired from New Mather Metals.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing, bowling, playing dice and cards, especially euchre, and above all, spending time with his family, whom he cherished deeply.

Louis is survived by his wife, Mary Mannebach; his children, Stacy (Mary Beth) Schumacher, Jo Ellen (David) Carpenter, Louis Mannebach IV, and Steven (Jill) Mannebach; his grandchildren, Lauren, Robert, Larry, Sam, Chase, Louis V, Marissa, Jacob, Madison, Mayley, and Crosby; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Sr and Eleanore (Siefert) Mannebach, his son Louis III, grandson Riley Carpenter and sister Patricia and her husband Kenneth Mummert Jr.

A Special mention to life-long friends Pat and Bill Colter and special cousin Alice (Culbertson) Sheppard and all his Carpenter lake friends.

A private family service will be held and the family requests no flowers. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Harter Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mannebach family.
